Individual Counselling I'm passionate about supporting individuals who experience anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, trauma and inter-generational trauma, and/or wish to explore identity and belonging.
Couples Counselling I support couples with communication, conflict repair, and establishing clearer patterns.
Parent/Co-Parenting and Family Counselling I specialize in supporting caregivers navigating the complexities of parenting and co-parenting. Whether families are adjusting to separation or divorce, managing differences in parenting approaches, supporting children with diverse needs and/or neurodiversity (e.g., ADHD, autism, ODD), or responding to ongoing family stressors, these experiences can bring significant challenges to communication, connection, and decision-making. Together, we explore the stories, expectations, and patterns that may be shaping family relationships while identifying strengths and shared values that can support more collaborative and responsive parenting. My goal is to help families develop practical tools, strengthen their confidence, navigate conflict constructively, and create environments in which every individual can thrive.
I take a narrative approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that people are the experts in their own lives and that our identities are shaped by the stories we hold about ourselves, our relationships, and our experiences. Together, we explore the impact of challenges such as anxiety, trauma, ADHD, parenting stress, and relationship difficulties, while also uncovering strengths, values, and resilience that are sometimes overshadowed by struggles.
I am particularly interested in understanding how broader social, cultural, and systemic contexts, such as discrimination, heteronormativity, colonialism, and intergenerational trauma, influence wellbeing. By examining these influences, we can often develop a more compassionate understanding of challenges that are often viewed as individual problems.
Through collaborative and reflective conversations, I support people in uncovering preferred stories about who they are, what they value, and their preferred future direction. The goal is to create space for new perspectives, strengthen a sense of identity and agency, and foster meaningful change that is aligned with their values, relationships, and hopes for the future.
